Pavilion with light

A beam of sunlight enters each September 11th just after 9:00 A.M.
and slowly scrolls down each name as the sun rises.

Memorial to the Events of September 11th, 2001 in Rockville, Maryland is dedicated to the eleven citizens of Montgomery County who were lost on September 11th, 2001. An arc of benches surrounds grass, a small pavilion is oriented to the sun. Stainless steel, ipe wood, bronze plaque, overall size 40' x 50', 2003, Gene and Susan Flores.
